Triathlons are tough and the hardest part is most often the run. The struggle bus always seems to hit when you have half or more to go on the run. The second half can seem daunting and near impossible. You hit that dark place in your mind and it keeps telling you that you’ll never make it.
Somehow you push through it and when you get to that last tenth of a mile you are running like you have a fresh pair of legs. You always tell yourself you could continue on at that point and put in another 13.1 miles but once you cross that finish line you couldn’t have a larger load off your shoulders.
