Mid September in Wisconsin and while this week has been warm, the signs of fall are all around. Cooler (past and upcoming) temps, leaves falling off the trees, and shorter days. But all that means it is the perfect time for a fall project. So here we are, expanding the fence, yet again. This time from the shed to the privacy fence to fully enclose the road (south) side of the garden and orchard. There is still many runs/feet to go before the entire orchard is enclosed but this is phase two with the final phase coming in 2026.
